DeSlots: Identify the Cause and Fix It!

If more and more power is added to a car, it will get more and more difficult to contain irrespective of the motor layout.

Anglewinders are not DeFacto "more difficult" but present different challenges.
The BSCRA use very powerful anglewinders on wood tracks but have chassis' designed to make the most of that power.

In respect to layouts, everyone has a favourite.
Each layout has benefits and drawbacks.
Clubs also have preferences and their classes are skewed toward that preference.

Have you posted yet cause and  fix at driver level?

Driver level is usually...
  • Trying to race against faster drivers when you're already at least a lap down
  • Accelerating too early
  • Too much power
  • Not focussing on your own race against yourself
  • Not taking your finger right off the throttle to brake into a corner
  • ...plus at least 100 other things

Life is like a box of Slot cars... Cool Drinkingcheers
