Congratulations with your purchase.
It' s a very nice car.
At mine I replaced both stub axles with a front axle, after which it runs much better.
To do this, you need to shorten the motor shaft at the front.
Hub
Fly Alfa Romeo Guilia 2000 GTV with front axle instead of stub axles.

My newest car is the Bathurst Aston Martin by Scalextric. Not had a chance to get it out on the track yet due some ongoing DIY around the house but it looks fast.
