I was starting to get worried this morning... a couple of days, no parcels and I reckoned I was missing five, maybe six entries  Tappingfoot

Lo and behold, a heavily-laden Royal Mail van appeared outside at lunchtime (on a Sunday!) with seven parcels - five of them for the proxy event. Apparently, it has been another chaotic week at the delivery office and they were trying to catch up with the backlog. So... probably still waiting for one more. I will know when I open them up tomorrow.

The full entry list will appear here and on the new race report thread, tomorrow evening / Tuesday morning. Then pictures and proper introductions 5pm on Wednesday.

I have updated the entries in post #1. There are currently 45 cars at Rally HQ, with Oli's Audi Quattro posted in Worthing on Saturday and due to arrive today (fingers-crossed). Please do check to see if your name appears where you expect it to be!

The 46 cars includes 12 entries in Class 1 (Scalextric 1997-2007 WRC), 9 entries in Class 2 (Scalextric DPR 'Group B') and 25 entries in Class 3 (UK Slot Rally).

There's a wide range of makes in Class 3 - SCX (9), Ninco (5), SRC (3), Scalextric (3), plus one each of Carrera, Scaleauto, PowerSlot, Policar and NSR. There are four replacement chassis - two Red Dragon, one Slot.it and one JS Chassis Design - and a handful of motor swaps, but not many.

It's an honour to welcome Phil B's Porsche 914 - class winner at the recent Wye Valley Winter Stages - and Alan B's Citroën C4 that came third in class at the same event.

Apart from local Sussex entries, cars have arrived from all around the UK - including several from Wales, Scotland, the Midlands, North East, Kent and the Home Counties.

The full entry list will be posted later today / early tomorrow.

If there was an award for 'most beautiful packaging', Doug's box would come first...

...although Craig's lavender-scented 'pampering' box was a worthy runner-up. His and Steve's entries definitely win the 'best smelling' car award.

Finally, Rose (the cat) wants to say a big "thank you" to everyone who sent her a box... Having said that, I have managed to keep her (and any cat hair) out of all the Rally-Sprint boxes so far.

... and no duplicates  Thumbup Oops. Maybe there are? 2 x #5 Imprezas but are they different? (Shows my ignorance of 1:1 rallying doesn't it!)

I wish I had made the effort to get involved now, haven't entered a slot rally since winning our club one in 1971 (I think)

I was going to say 'No duplicates again' but there is. Just the one though, Mrs Wembley.  Thumbup

If - sorry, when - I manage to retrieve Oli's car, there will two RallyX Audis. Mine and Rebecca's RS200 was the same as Paul's, but now has a different number Thumbup

But a definite low incidence of duplicates - I thought there would be more... and the UK Slot Rally class barely has a duplicate of the same model, let alone a duplicate livery - a couple of Ninco C4s is all, I think.

Same here. Thought there would be a lot of duplicates but a nice, colourful and varied field by the sound of it  Thumbup
