I've always steered clear of the SCX track as I was led to beleive the depth of the slotbis quite shallow the same as UK Scalextric classic track is that correct?

My track has now been taken up as my wife is having the room for her hobby room and I am going up to the loft. Its not as bad as it sounds as the loft is all insulated and boarded in the roof trusses...

I do play with wood but not to the skills of the previous posts, I find the scenery side of the hobby keeps me busy in the mind sometimes.

I painted my track and boarders when I was using Scalextric Sport as the grip was dire. Cleaned track or border then used grey primer rattle can, I then used Stone paint from rattle cans worked well ...

Did you do any more scenery to finish Ken?
