Worthing HO Racing met for the first time in February 2010. We now race twenty-four times a year, mostly on Wednesday evenings - the calendar features a mix of HO (1/64 scale) analogue racing and 1/32 scale Scalextric Digital racing. Plus we're introducing some extra Slot Rally events in 2024. Our aim is to offer a good-value night out for all ages and abilities and to make slot car club racing as accessible as possible. Our website is
whoracing.org.uk
We meet at: The Barn, English Martyrs Church Hall, Goring Way, Goring-by-Sea BN12 4UE. There is plenty of parking in the church car park and on the access road outside the Barn. Goring-by-Sea railway station is 5-10 minutes walk away and the 700 Coastliner bus stops right outside, running both east and west. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Doors open at 6.30pm for practice for our Wednesday evening races - racing starts at 7 and we aim to finish by 9.30 (Digital Wednesdays often run to 9.45). Entry is £3 for adults and £2 for under-16s. There is no additional membership fee. We ask that all racers aged 12 and under bring a responsible with them. The club has a safeguarding policy
here.
Club cars and controllers are always available for our Wednesday evening events at no extra cost. If you are planning on running your own cars, the HO rules are
here, and the 2019 WHO/digital guide is available
here.
Our all-day Digital Saturdays start at 10am and end around 5pm, with entry £3/£2 per session - so morning and afternoon costs £6/£4. Please let us know in advance if you are planning a trip to a Digital Saturday.

All the WHO Racing dates for 2020 have just been finalised. It will be our tenth anniversary year, with the big day celebrated at the Nascar race on Wednesday 5 February. There will be various celebratory themes running through all our events next year - and plenty of opportunities to look back at ten years of fabulous racing at the Barn.

We'll be celebrating the club's 15th birthday this February. It'll be more low-key than in 2020, and hopefully won't usher in another pandemic... There will be cake.
With 13 HO events, 13 WHO digital events, four WHO Slot Rally Wednesdays, plus a Slot Rally GB Saturday, this year promises to be the busiest we've ever had at the Barn.
