Hi from Lancaster, PA -

It's always great to see a new slot racing forum on the internet. I have a permanent Scalextric/SCX slot track in my basement that I call Overlook Raceway Park. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all the other members on this forum and I plan to share some of my ideas and photos as well. Here are a couple of photos that show an overview of Overlook Raceway Park:
Looking forward to learning a lot more about slot car racing.

Nice!
Does the copper tape negate the need for the booster cables ?

Thanks for the nice welcome to SlotRacer Online.
Yes, the copper tape on the rails does make a big difference on my track. It is about 65 ft long and the current was not evenly distributed at all until I added the copper tape. That's all I've done and it works well for me. The tape has been on for 3 years now and I've only needed to repair a couple of small sections.
