Jamie's Current TRack Status - Jamie - 27th-Sep-26

Alright chaps!
Ok, so aside from some landscaping and such to finish off, my track layout is now pretty much complete.
(that said, I *might* add some more split-with-a-bread knife/single lane stuff, elevated of course, but I'm still thinking about that....hmm)
Everything is where it ought to be, structures and supports are all good, and there's a strong current throughout.
So here's a little rip round with my new favourite car (which, has been sitting idle since I first acquired it - I should have recomissioned it/ got it back into action *months* ago) - the Jaguar Xj220.
Cool Beer

It's certainly not a race track, one for cruising to while away the time...  Cool

Well, *almost*......
There are still things I'm considering adding, such as in-car cameras, casting to a screen on the wall - this would allow me to send it down the hallway to the far end of the apartment and back again, all whilst being monitered on the screen in the main circuit room.
But at the moment, the biggest contender is a water feature.
For some time now, I've been thinking about some kind of waterfall in the north-east corner, flowing into some open water areas in amongst the midfield section, and having the track *literally* on the water's surface, so it almost looks like it's floating.
And I've already been checking out some stuff to do it with (such as shallow outdoor fibreglass pond stuff, water pumps, and whatnot).
I'd actually *really* like some LEGO boats bobbing around, so that's definitely on my radar, for sure.
Just to be clear, none of that was a joke, by the way.....

Well, as far as I'm concerned, if you've got *any* kind of layout, along with a willing challenger who thinks they can beat you, then you've got a racetrack.
Rally
Unless of course, it's been put together by a myopic ex-British Leyland employee with depth perception issues and a massive drink problem.
(like most of the cars they ever manufactured, then.... Rofl)
But yeah, while it might not be a conventional circuit type affair, I'd much rather it be something with the complexity of The Green Hell, as opposed to something with 1 level, 8 bends, and a 6 second lap time. That would bore me to death in equally as many seconds.
