Snapshots just don't get there...you have to plan everything down to the last detail!

None of us can match Doug's skill, patience, creativity, and experience. In my opinion, he is the best.

But your recent photos are better than they used to be, in my honest opinion. You've chosen some nice angles for the P68 which really show off the curves of the car, and you've chosen a background which doesn't distract. They're good photos.

I think it's a bit like slot racing or anything else in life, you can't expect to jump in and suddenly match the best. I believe the target is "a bit better than last time", and "keep going".

BAracer, don't be so down on yourself...those are good!  You are down on the cars level, focus is good, and the light is good!  What do you feel is wrong with the shots?

RE: NSR Ford P68 - BAracer - 29th-Nov-24

My pictures are of the car sitting on a stand on my kitchen worktop.

The next level of picture would have involved cleaning up the background and doing something neater with the base...a bit more effort.

So the challenge continues!

Moving to my ceramic hob, with under-cupboard lighting, here's an unexpected result...
