'63 Galaxie 500 XL - KensRedZed - 23rd-Jun-24

A funny thing is happening with the 1/25 Boulvard Cruiser class at the club where I race. Everyone is now trying to locate and build cars from their family history. Up next is a car I recently built for a friend that grew up around a '63 Galaxie 500 in brilliant orange. Clearly, he's a fan of old Fords.

I left the interior and the final touches of chrome penwork up to him to complete.

The kit.

Test fitting the painted body to the chassis.

The completed car. It runs like a rocket!
