1930 Ford A pick up - Fluff - 21st-May-19

A new build ,as the Yank tanks are finished As title says a Ford pickup , going to be really simple and sedate as befitting it's age .Cut the bottom of the pickup out to fit in the inline motor and rear axle ,and started on a very basic chassis .
More to follow as I get more done !

Looking good!! Nice build.

Built a couple of 30's fords for Bordo - as hot rods. Sadly they dont really float my boat. I was hoping they would  Cool

Fitted a scaly rear axle and wheels for now ,soldered in the motor mount .Need the back mount for the motor and a bit to hold the slot guide ,and body fixing points then finish the body

Chassis finished and fitting it to the body ,then I can finish the body off and see how she runs .More later

Shame, I really like my little Ford coupe. Came fourth in the racing against all the giant Yank tanks. For a change, I will try and keep this one complete. Usually all my chassis get reused and recycled into the next catogory at Bordo. I got another Pittman 196B that is even quicker than this one so it should survive. The Pittman will be perfect for an Indy car in 32nd scale.
