Avant Slot Catalogue -
JasonB - 25th-Nov-23
Avant Slot have certainly gained a reputation for their interesting and varied range of slot cars.
Their recently released catalogue for the remainder of 2023, and the whole of 2024 seems to suggest that approach will continue.
It's a hugely diverse output, with a great range of rally and raid cars, several Le Mans cars, two classic transporters, an F1 car, a Dakar winning truck, and several GT1 & GT3 cars...

Some interesting rally cars there.
Fly promised the Legacy and SaffCos quite a while ago but they have never materialised. I
could also be interested in the Galant and 240RS. I've been procrastinating on a Manta for quite a while.......

240RS is going to be a big seller for them...such a shame they don't do something about that chassis design

Coincidentally, I bought one today at the Ruhrslot swapmeet in Germany (only 65 Euros).
It's too wide, but it drives very nicely.

It'd drive even nicer with those front tyres on the track instead of 2mm in the air

At their Manta 400 Avant Slot has replaced the sprung guide for a deeper one with a screw on top.
Without the spring it's even a lot better indeed.
Both wires provide sufficient force to press the brushes onto the track.
