Hello chaps.  You'll probably recognise my screen name from The Other Forum, aka The T***** Show.  Here's hoping the issues over there stay over there.

Hello Stu, good to see you here.  The tempo here is a bit slower than the old place but that's good !

I know what you mean, Leo.  I got sick of people continually stoking a certain over-inflated ego, and the owner of said ego taking just about every thread he viewed way off-topic.  I don't understand the "must have the highest post-count at all costs" mentality.  "Slower tempo" = good, if it means the quality of the threads is better.
I like your sig. by the way.

Yes the thread hijacks got out out of hand. One person (probably the same one) told me that they  thought that hijacking was good practice.

It will be the same one.  The very same one who told me he is on a mission to be far-and-away the highest poster, and he doesn't care what anyone thinks - the only way he will stop is if he gets banned.
Childish.

Welcome here Stu

It's a shame people mistakes likes for traffic and then complain there's less traffic.

Posting pictures of a trip to Oxford (?), even with a Xmas cake was an all time low for me since I've been avoiding exactly that kind of stuff for years...
