Hello, - Mahan - 9th-Mar-23

I’m a new old Swedish fan of slot racing. It all begun in the mid 70s when I was given a Fleischmann Auto Ralley track for Christmas. Over the years I bought more and more track pieces and overall it now contains more than 100 pieces. In my youth I was able to set up the whole track in my parents basement where I grew up. But life take changes and moving to my own lodge with lack of space has denied me for having set up the track for many many years. Hence the track has been stored away in the attic due to family obligations but now when my own children has flown away from the nest more space has occurred and my interest has come back. Last week I found some track parts on eBay I’ve been looking for and my objective is now to build a large permanent track in one of the abandoned rooms in my house. I will post pictures here from the building when it’s done.

Hello Mahan, Greetings from Scotland.
Great to hear that you are going to revive an Auto-Rallye layout, I look forward to seeing it develop.
I have a few Fleischmann cars (BMW, Porsche, Mercedes types) and love how they run - not toofast and handle well. I have a small amount of the Auto-Rallye track, just enough for a small oval, if I had lots I would have used it for my layout but it is rare in UK.
