Yes, more 1:32 scale classic saloon cars from Revoslot...

Following on from the Alfa Guilia Sprint GTA is a Ford Escort Mk1 RS1600 in three initial liveries and a white kit - all scheduled for a July 2022 release.

The first looks remarkably like the works RS1600 that Hannu Mikkola and Jim Porter took to the 1973 Rallye Monte Carlo and finished fourth. Scalextric produced this livery in 1:32 scale back in 2007 as C2798, but I'm not sure anyone will complain. It's a great choice.

Then there's a Dutch touring car livery from 1972. Ernst Berg's Mk1 raced mostly in the Netherlands, with occasional trips into Germany, France and Belgium - picking up class wins and overall podiums in the Dutch championship. This brilliantly 70s livery and the #79 on the side appeared at the Grote Prijs van Zandvoort in 1972.

There have been rather a lot of orange Escorts running in various Jägermeister liveries over the past few decades, but I reckon the Revoslot model is the German RS2000 pictured above. Can't tell you much about it, except it looks rather good!

And there's the option of a white kit to create many thousands of classic Mk1 liveries.

That's really weird, I'm already signed up (and receive) their newsletter, I keep them all for reference too, just been back through them and nowhere is there any mention of the Escort, can you give me a link FROM the newsletter as I cant find any mention on their website either.

There is nothing on the PSR site as yet. I suspect there may be after the Bank Holiday weekend.

Pendles are brilliant sending their latest news to us at SlotRacer Online. Sean forwarded the latest Revoslot planner last Thursday. Obviously the Escort is the biggest news, but there's also a pair of rather tasty Vaillant-liveried Porsche GT2s coming at the end of May (pre-order here) and the 1995 Le Mans Gulf-livery McLaren F1 GTRs on their way in August (no pre-order yet). The Alfas (pre-order here) and Escort are due June and July - not a bad schedule for the summer!

I've now got 4 cars on pre-order, a TeamSlot Escort, Revoslot Alfa & Escort and a Thunderslot Mustang... I just hope they dont all try to leave my bank account at the same time Sweating
