Following on from that I know I LOVE looking at other collectors set of cars and collections. I thought I would share what I have out and hope that you will join in and share your collections for all of us to oogle at.

Hi Anthony,

That's a truly awesome collection!

I'm still a bit new to slot cars, so my collection is a bit smaller. Pun intended.  Sun

Really nice bunch of cars Ken!!  Thanks for sharing.

PS this is not about size, more about sharing one's collection for others to admire :)

RE: Your Collection - Johnno - 28th-Apr-22

Sadly due to my track taking up my entire lounge, living and dining areas, my car collection has been relegated to the storage cabinet, which in itself is full now as well.

Pictures don't do the car collection justice, figuring I will get them all out and place on the track then photo the lot when I get out of hospital in a few weeks.

LOL

A friend came round a while back (see other thread) selling a collection on behalf of a friend of his.

A lot of the stuff he wanted to sell off quickly, and so wanted smallish money. One of them was a half constructed Monogram MGA. I suddenly thought the next day - hang on - I have built one of those!!! - See the point - it is in the basement, along with the sets I have and my version of Kyalami made from Revell track

Thanks for complements!!

RE: Your Collection - Gordon Steadman - 1st-Nov-22

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have 50 working slot cars. This is at leat 30 too many.

They all get hammered round my track as fast as they will go and if they get damaged, so be it. They are slot cars, they have motors and guides and stuff and so serve the purpose for which they were designed.

I keep a few RTRs for guests to ruin and a good proportion have bodies that I have made. There are a few 'collectors' Cox cars but they get hammered too.

Even worse, it's 51. I was fitting new tyres to the breadvan and left it on the dining table.
