SC-1608 Guides - gsnopoint - 2nd-Apr-22

Does anyone know the difference in the scaleauto guides sc-1608 and sc-1608b. The 1608b states for Ninco track, but what is the real difference between the 2 guides?
The depth of both guides are 7mm & shaft 3.5mm.  Is it the length of the guide or thickness?   Can't find the info anywhere.

Looking at pictures, it seems the "b" version is shorter at the front with slightly different shaping, and has a spring included.
How deep is the slot on Ninco track ? 7mm seems deep for plastic ...
