Asian Le Mans Series 2022 - woodcote - 11th-Feb-22

   

This looks very much like a warm-up for the European Le Mans Series LMP2 and LMP3, plus various GT3 teams - some of whom run in the ELMS. There are four 4-hour races over two weekends - this week in Dubai, next week in Abu Dhabi. With 23 GT3s, 9 LMP3s and 4 LMP2s it should be a full grid - there are plenty top European teams, sadly with only three genuine Asian GT entrants. Could be some good racing, so should be worth a watch for endurance and GT fans looking forward to the European series starting in the spring.

Live coverage and timing is via the ALMS YouTube Channel and the website. Qualifying is 5am GMT Saturday, followed by Race 1 at midday. Sunday’s race begins at 1pm.

Race coverage on YouTube starts Saturday at 10am and then Sunday at midday UK time. Qualifying is Saturday 5.15am.
