Trans Am Under 2.5L PROXY RULES V1_2022/23

Below are the Rules & Regulations for the 2022 Trans Am Under 2.5L Proxy

  1. Non North American entries on or before June 16th

  2. Canadian and US entries on or before June 19th

  3. All entries that do not meet the ship by deadline and/or are unable to provide proof that the shipping deadline was met, will receive a four (4) point penalty for each business day that the car is late – up to a maximum of 40 points. Entries may be mailed after those deadlines in 1 & 2 as long as they arrive on or before the deadline of July 1st.

The Race Director reserves the right to decline any entries at his discretion.
Decisions of the Race Director are final.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their entry is legal to race in this series and also meets the rules as laid out. Entered cars that do not meet these rules will be disqualified.

Cars not conforming to the rules will be disqualified and sent home with no recourse to re-enter. You are responsible to build a car that meets all the rules and will last through the length of the series.

  1. Provide pictures during your host round of the full field of cars on your track

  2. Pictures of the top three winners on your track (the start/finish line is a great idea)

  3. A results sheet of qualifying and race results sent to the director within 24 hours of each event ending.

Penalty points may be applied at the Race Director's discretion to entrants that require additional adjustments or modifications to meet any rules and/or make the car ready to race. If a car needs to be returned to the owner prior to the series start, it will be deducted from the entrant fee prior to refund. If the car is removed and returned to the series for any reason the return home shipping cost will be paid by the entrant. There will be no delay in the series, and penalty points will be incurred - this excludes shipping damage, assuming the car was shipped in a reasonable and protected way.
