Greetings All...
For anyone using an
ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro, how do you like it?
For those printing resin bodies, what is the smallest build-plate that is still pretty functional to do bodies?
Thanks!

My first resin printer was the Mars Pro, the build plate was a little small for 1/32 bodyshells so I had to tilt them at an angle but it got me into the world of 3D resin printing, I loved the quality of the final prints then I upgraded to a Photon Mono X which enables me to print any 1/32 car bodyshell flat on the build plate.
There isn't a smallest build plate unless you definitely prefer flat on the plate which has the #1 advantage of reduced TIME! Resin printers do one layer at a time so the height of the print is the killer if you have loads to print.

Thanks, Kevan,
I decided to go with the ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro. I got a smokin' Black Friday deal on it and an Elegoo Wash & Cure station.
From what I have seen, printing at an angle takes longer, but the results are still awesome.
This is a first step (into resin) for me. If I like what I see, and feel comfortable with the results, I'll probable buy a much bigger machine in 2023...
...There are some things I would like to do, commercially, if this works out the way I hope.

Like I said, with resin 3D printers '
the height of the print is the killer' regardless of the size of the footprint, it could be 150mm square or a pinprick, the layer time will be the same.
I'd print it at the lowest angle possible with the nose up to reduce loss of detail at the back end.
