Staffs Slot Cars UK Alloy Minilite Wheels - woodcote - 5th-Nov-21

Arriving at the end of this month is a new variety of Staffs Slot Cars alloy wheels. This time Steve has given us a classic Minilite design -  ideal for race, rally and performance road cars from the 60's, 70's and into the 80s. Not just Minis. The wheels are 15.8mm in diameter and 8.5mm wide. The Staffs Minilites are being produced in these colours...

Not very convincing are they?  The Minilite pattern is instantly recognisable and genuinely iconic in motorsport.

They look very similar to the SRC ones I have on my Escorts.
Painting the inside helps toward the illusion of Minilites, but still a compromise.

If the speed the SRC ones sold out in the UK is anything to go by, these will be hot sellers.

They look superb on the Teamslot Renault 5 Maxiturbo, where the original wheels were probably the weakest part of the model. Mine shall be getting the Staffs upgrade.
