Staffs Slot Cars UK teaser time... - woodcote - 6th-Aug-21

August is traditionally a slow news time in the slot car world. The southern European manufacturers are off on their holidays - and production in the Far East is looking shaky after a wave of Covid outbreaks and lockdowns across China and neighbouring countries...

So yesterday's teaser from Staffs Slot Cars UK is most welcome...

All I can tell you is that Steve has been looking at this model for a while. Only 75 of the real cars were produced - and that's what is being looked at for an exclusive Staffs Slot Cars UK limited edition run. That was the idea... do these pics mean it will become a reality? It certainly looks like a slot car!

Is that a pre-existing slot-car Subaru? I don't recall seeing that body-style in 1:32.

Its a neat idea of doing the Cosworth special edition.

By coincidence, I was at a Subaru specialist this morning and they had one of those Impezzas in their yard (but not a Cosworth variant)
