Weathered Roadrunner and Superbird - Reeves - 30th-Mar-21

Got these when I restarted the hobby, trade an rc buggy for a slotcar set, extra track and some extra cars.
These were for Carrera Pro-X so I converted them to analog drive.
I also gave them a weathered look, including some “battle scars”,as I didn’t like the plastic stock look

Hello Reeves,
Grand cars, these and the Dodge equivalents have pretty much become classics/icons of the Carrera range.

That is really good. Usually, it looks as if someone has decided - Gordon Steadman - 31st-Mar-21

That is really good.

Usually, it just looks as if someone has decided to 'weather' their cars. These just look naturally mucky after or during a race. Impressive.

They wrote a song and made a cartoon about it.  Thumbup

Thanks Gordon!

That’s the hardest part of the weathering job, giving the car a realistic” final lap “ look without making it look dirty.
Also every race car has a specific look, a 24h race car looks completely different than aa car that raced a 45 minutes race.
