Slot car scrapyard & projects sale - richardtheforth - 17th-Feb-21

It's time to clear out the boxes of abandoned/unstarted projects and focus on the stuff I might actually get around to. All the following cars are used, in various conditions as noted. 
Most will just need a bit of TLC like cleaning and lubricating moving parts to get them running well.
I can take further photos or provide more info on condition if needed, please ask. 

Selling in the following bundles, I don't really want to split them up.

Postage to UK only, for 4-6 cars should be £4 for 2nd class recorded or could do low value ones for £3  2nd class (at your risk).

Could also be collected from CR6 close to J6 M25 to save postage

Let's start with the NON RUNNERS:


Bundle 1. 
C135 tyrrell in box: rear wing missing: no guide/brushes so can’t test for power

C121 tyrrell: missing rear wing: no brushes so can’t test for power

C012 shadow (white): body with motor and guide only

C126 JPS black: body parts only
ALL for £12






Bundle 2. 
C699 Mercedes DTM & C701 Opel Calibra DTM 
Both are body/chassis only, need motors etc
BOTH for £10






Bundle 3. 
C2478 & C2479 Red & Yellow Boxsters
C2506 2x Silver Audi TTs
All four are body & chassis only, wheels all spin ok, one TT has a broken hole on chassis where the guide clips into

4. C2364 Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 
Body/chassis only, needs motor etc: missing spoiler

5. C379 Capri 
Body/chassis only, needs motor etc. I have the blue front & rear spoilers too but they'll need gluing back on.

6. SCX Ferrari 333SP
Body/chassis only, needs motor etc

Bundle 7. C113 Triumph TR7 
Motor doesn’t turn when power put to wires: includes spare yellow bodyshell.

Bundle 8. C310 MG Maestro & MG Metro 
Maestro bodyshell only, Metro bodyshell & chassis
£12 for BOTH







Lamborghini Mercielago, not Scalextric, unknown brand (possibly Proteus?)
Nice model with strong motor but rear tyres are rock hard so although motor spins fine it doesn’t go that fast.

10. C2034 Audi A4 Repsol 
Motor runs, lights work but missing front axle and either the rear axle or wheel is bent so doesn’t run properly

11. C427 Porsche 935 red 
works fine
no damage
front lights work
Just dusty and unwanted.
£10







12. C128 BMW 3.0 CSL white 
works fine, 
motor a bit slow but prob just needs an Italian tune up
rear wing has been cut off
Dusty.

13. SCX Audi 90 GTO 
Works fine
shaft driven 4wd
front and rear lights work
slow, likely just needs a clean and lube
body originally white but been badly painted matt black. It wasn't me!

14. C449 Porsche 959 red 
2wd version
Braids missing but motor runs when wires put on track
lights don’t work
Dusty.

15. C2008 Audi A4 ADAC 
Works fine, magnet is a bit loose
spoiler & mirrors still intact
front & rear lights work
£12






16. C250 & C255 Pontiac Firebird red & black 
Both work fine
some tyres are split but they are soft so grip ok
crap when brand new so don’t expect much in terms of performance!

17.  C280 Rover 3500 
Motor runs fine
missing bumpers & dusty

18. C2038 Mercedes DTM & C2030 Calibra DTM white/red 
Both work fine but were fairly crap even when new so don't expect too much!
BOTH for £15






19. C403 & C404 Pontiac Firebird The Mask & Venom, red & purple 
Both work fine
tyres Ok but wheels spin on axle on the purple one
These were crap when brand new so don’t expect much!
BOTH for £12





20. C2391 & C2392 Mercedes CLK DTM black & silver 
Both run but not as fast as they should. 
These have been used and abused so they’re tatty
need a clean and lube then they they may run well
spoiler/mirrors missing
front lights work but lenses are missing.

C480 Red/white: runs fine
C215 Blue/yellow: motor runs but needs new guide blade
no cog on motor 
needs rear axle spacer thingy

C333 Black/red: runs fine, red bit broken at back
C392 Green/yellow: motor runs, needs guide blade, tyres cracked

Both work fine

Spoilers present and not broken or glued in

24. F1 pair: Renault Elf no0 & Ferrari no6
Both run fine

both run fine both missing rear wings

26. Caterham 7 Yellow & Blue 

Blue: runs well
missing rear lights and one front light pod is broken off but is supplied
Yellow: runs well
wheels are spinning a bit on axle so pulls away like the clutch is slipping missing front mudguards and one headlamp lens
dusty

Ferrari F40 red
Runs fine, front lights, rear lights and brake lights all work
Lamborghini Diablo black
Runs fine, front lights, rear lights and brake lights all work
mirrors intact

Really good condition and works fine
Had little use from new.
Has a forward/reverse switch underneath

Works fine
has mirrors 
one lady driver from new

Alfa Romeo: runs really well
Opel Calibra: cog slipping on motor. 
A bit of glue would sort it.

Boxed RUNNERS

Ninco Renault Clio £20
Runs well





Powerslot Hummer H1 £30
These are hard to get hold of now, I somehow have 2 of them so selling one. Belt driven 4WD, independent suspension (you can just see the yellow springs in the photo of the underside)
Spring loaded guide so it can climb over obstacles or rough terrain. 
Huge, (see photo with Caterham for size comparison)
A right laugh on track and surprisingly fast. 
One of the rear wheels is loose
Comes in original box.







Scaleauto Zonda  £30
In fab almost new condition
I think I bought this, tried it for a few laps then decided I didn’t like it and put it back in the box. 
Box windows are loose.
Runs really well, is fast and smooth. 
High detail so looks amazing. 
The only used one I can find on ebay is 80 Euros.
