F1 -

Hi guys
We have been racing F1s at Presto Park for a few years now, but since the advent of 3D printing the older Scalextric cars have been given a new less of life.
We can now use slot it motors and gears etc and the results have been incredible. The most popular make of chassis has been those of Angelo Amato, much cheaper than shapeways.

Alf

Shapeways aren't a 'make' of chassis, they host designers, including Mr Amato, and print their designs on demand.

Hi
Yes I understand what you are saying completely but you can buy the chassis direct from Angelo much cheaper and faster.
His web site is angelo.amato@live.co.uk

Hi
Yes he prints his own chassis as well as selling on shapeways.
We have had him down to Presto Park for a race evening and he is a very nice guy and spent a lot of time helping members with queries they had and selling a lot of products.
He has an online list of chassis available and has in stock some of the more popular ones.

Alf

You can find Angelo on facebook at "Amato Slot Car Chassis Design"
Or on the slotforum in the traders section.
The chassis on shapeways are printed on a more expensive printer rather than a home printer .
I have used both types and prefer the home printed chassis.

Because they are cheaper?
