There's two Toledos, one a touring car:

...and the other built purely for GT racing, this one won Spanish GT championship races (the SCX one is about 67mm wide! )

I have the Ninco Audi and it is the same width as my SCX Volvo 850 so that is ok

not exactly, there is a statement within the rules to say that the cars must be to 1/32nd Scale.
But as we are running an event with both Muscle Cars & DTM cars split into 2 Classes, there is a overall Event width limit

But I would accept models as being in scale if they are within a reasonable scale tolerance that you get with "most" brands, Scalextric, SCX, Ninco.
However I am not very familar with these Spirit models ?

This isn't a 'scale accurate' proxy, we're not running to CSCRA regs.

Graham's rules for some events are for specific manufacturers cars, in this instance event 2 is for Scalextric, SCX and Ninco bodyshells only.  We don't make them the width they are, they do.

I would agree that this is a  "Slot car competition" and not a "Modelling  competition" 

The reason I raised it is that the car looks perhaps wider than the other cars of the same type in the Class, so perhaps it should be regarded as being in the "Muscle Car" Class

It does not look any wider in real life than the other cars it’s racing in the photo, do we know what competition the photo is from ?

And also what the other cars were ?
