It has been an issue of cars loosing body mount screws during the proxy, and unfortunately over 10 rounds it is quite likely without regular maintenance.
And of course it can be detrimental to other cars following in the lanes, so I think the request to cover mounting screws with tape or blue tack is quite valid.
I can appreciate that in the examples that are shown, that these screws hidden underneath the guide shoe are less likely to fall out and cause a problem during a run, so I would take that into consideration, but in general where that condition does not exist, then covering body screws is a mandatory requirement. In the current Touring Cars proxy many entrants did not actually comply, but instead of applying a penalty, I simply applied some covering tape or blue tack(which ever was more appropriate) myself.
And I would adopt this approach in future.

Thanks Graham, one of the pictures is the NSX I intend to run in the GT Proxy. I will put Blu Tac inside the front body post, to ensure the screw doesn't back off.
Cheers Chris

I'm not sure if it's too early of me but I just wanted to say that I would like to take part in this proxy.
I'm currently in the touring car proxy as Manx Ed

BTW it's good to see the motor RPM for class A changed as my Calibra would have been doing better with a quicker motor

You are more than welcome, I always get entrants saying at the last minute that they forgot or run out of time, hence the need for reminders.

Andy & myself will definitely be entering a car each, Andy's will be Event 2, Class C, mine is still yet to be decided but will definitely be either Class A or B and Event 1 or 3.
I don't know what any of the other guys are doing, I'll get some definitive final word in the coming days.
