I will admit, considering a Mini entry for this proxy just won't go away... I'll have to work on one for the future.

Kevan - 20th-Jan-26
Nearly finished, needs rear wheel inserts and the driver painting.
Event 2.
I've not driven it on our track yet so testing will be on Thursday when I'll probably race it as it's Saloons this week.

I have one ready to go, it still needs minor adjustments.

Testing on Thursday told me it's back to the CAD drawing board... it's awful!

Ok, decision time for me......
Event 2 Volvo
Saloon or Estate
The Saloon is slightly wide than the Estate but the Estate body is around 3 grams lighter, guess i will have to test both.
I have the Estate chassis and lightweight interior, just waiting for the Saloon chassis to arrive this week.

Event 1 Datsun
Slot it versus Revoslot, the Slot it version did not work very well in the US Trans Am proxy but it was Urethane tyres, perhaps better on rubber. The Revo Datsun need a little bit more work

Event 3 Ford Falcons XB or XC
The Falcon XC version #25 has done service as a standard -dish car in the Australian proxies in the past, but I like them both.
Waiting for a 3d chassis to modify one of them. They both look mean machines.

I love both of those Falcons
I'd go with the old Volvo, the new estate is narrower but looks nicer.

my builds are painfully slow due to work commitments etc etc

the Volvo was going to be event 1 , but i am not sure i will have enough time to complete , we will see , maybe i have another alternative
the Megan is for event 2 , one question regarding this car .... the glazing is tinted , is this eligible ?
[attachment=45981]due to the dark interior this tint is exaggerated when the car is assembled , maybe an interior repaint?
and the falcon is event 3 which is coming along surprisingly nicely , will either be AW or SW , just waiting for gearing to be able to choose for certain

Kev, Megane is E.3

Oh dear, I can see a little confusion here.
The SCX Volvo is actually a 850 model which is ok as a Event 2 Super -Touring car (like mine). The Volvo 240 for the Event 1 is an earlier model.
As Kevin said the Megane is an Event 3 entry car as its a Silhoette Touring Car from the French Touring Championship (like DTM). If you can clearly see the interior inside the car it would be just about permissible, but from the photo it looks very dark.
The Ford Falcon is fine for Event 3 as a Muscle Car, and sounds more advanced than the Megane.
So you would need to think about a different Event 1 Car if you have time.
