RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - AdeC - 12th-Jun-21

Already feeling tense about this... and it's months away!

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - woodcote - 14th-Jun-21

Two more added to the entry list, so the odds for us newbies making it through the shoot-out are lengthening...

As Rob said, nothing less than an 'A-game' will suffice Sweating

Exciting stuff Thumbup

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - Cgyracer - 16th-Jun-21

SlotRacers, here is the latest from Chris "F1Fan" regarding the 2022 GT3 Rules, Cars, and hosting:.

This took longer than expected, apologies for the delay. The rules are mostly the same as before, however there are a few minor tweaks and added details for clarification. PLEASE take a few minutes to read again and fully understand.

A few highlights - but please read the document in it's entirety:

* the added detail about the diffuser & interior
* confirmation about the minimum wheel and tyre diameters & as well as inserts
* the change to the maximum voltage (now 11.5v down from 12v)
* penalties on repairs and returns

Documents attached

1) Rules 2021/22
2) Final list of Eligible Cars
3) Host Guidelines - current and applicable to all events under the "Championship Proxy Events" Banner (GT3, Group 5 and World Championship)

Please post below if there are any glaring omissions and/or if further clarification is needed.

Taking a few minutes to review these documents, would be hugely appreciated and avoid disappointment during the technical inspection. Cars with infractions could result in the entrant not qualifying for the series.

Thanks

Chris

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - Cgyracer - 6th-Jul-21

Just received the 44th entrant....Terryn.   Wow this 2022 GT3 proxy has sure maintained momentum with participants from all over the world.  It's going to be an absolutely fantastic shootout and with a very competitive group of 27 cars going forward.  Just amazing and thank you to all!

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - BAracer - 6th-Jul-21

Rob

Just reading about the congestion being created running all the various Proxy event on the limited 'circuit' of suitable tracks.

I trust GT3 2022 won't get bumped off the rota!

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - Cgyracer - 6th-Jul-21

Nothing to worry about my friend.  Just keep tuning that GT3 rocket of yours....you are carrying the Union Jack!

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - BAracer - 6th-Jul-21

Not me...the union jack has currently become very political over here.

I'll just be carrying best wishes from SlotRacer.Online!

The GT3 Proxy is the equivalent of this World Cup but it happens every year. Hosts WANT to run these cars.

RE: GT3 Proxy 2022 Registration - Cgyracer - 5th-Aug-21

Now that it is the beginning of August we will need to think about the GT3 registration payment of $27 USD that is due by August 31st. Please make sure you pay the PayPal fees and I receive $27.

Rob you should have just recieved a payment, hopefully of USD27.

the build is coming along, but slowly, I like to work to a deadline so I imagine there'll be a flurry of activity with about 3 days left.

Set up so far, I've just re-read the rules and realised all 4 wheels/tyres are illegal so back to the drawing board on that one!
