They are some of the best to drive.

These 2 cars have been taken out of "Collectibles" status and put on the bench (I threw out the boxes they came in). They'll get tuned a little, without replacing the chassis, and I'll custom install lights. It'll be fun!

My bench has been taken over by a pet project on which I am making steady progress.  So many different aspects are new and trying to work through what works and how, then draw it together into something practical.  I am a big fan of something that just turns on and works, so that is my target here.

This is the beginning of the drag strip that will have LED timings/speed, time slips printed on a little thermal printer if needed, and the option to switch from a normal mode to a "proxy" mode where track power is done by relays built in.  In the box are the relays, Arduino Mega, and a little 5v power supply for the LEDs and sensors as I was pushing the limits of power to run through the Arduino.

Had no drag cars so also building up a couple too.

How about doing a thread re fitting the lights.
Be handy for people who haven't done it but want to try.

I could do that! Thanks for the idea.

Bit of a fun project to build up a 4WD chassis for a Slot.it Alfa 155...

With the belt tensioner fitted, the motor was pulling 1 amp; with it removed, just half of that. So a bit more work to be done to reduce the losses in the drivetrain!

A Christmas present to myself, a Mitoos chassis for my raid truck. First fitting...
