I instantly thought your go to controller was the ECC since you have two of them.

Thumb controllers are no good for me as my thumb cramps up after it was completely lacerated when I was 13 years old, I am right handed and find it awkward using the left hand and thumb, so trigger styles are for me.

I am still a Greenhorn in this hobby so am learning everyday. I guess in the end, all that matters is your comfort and racing style.

I am happy with the TruSpeed controller, well I've never tried any others so far to make a further decision. The TruSpeed certainly has helped me gain podiums against the two veteran racers in our group.
