Our stand in host/Race controller (as Qman was confined to barracks) did very well for his first Proxy , but didn’t realise that if there’s a tie for position the fastest lap car gets the position.
So sadly BARacer….your last

Good Morning,
Many thanks again to Woodland Fort Club for putting on a great Round again for us, and especially to Host/Race organiser Bob who stood in for Qman who was unable to attend this time. We had some great results adding a little spice to Championship by having a few new entrants cars on the podium.
It was the "halfway house" Round as unfortunately Goldrock's Management have informed me that the rebuild will not be completed in time to run what would have been the 9th Round. So we are finishing the series with Round 8 at Roughwood Raceway on the 10th December.
So here is the Championship Class Results

So next week we move onto the newly surfaced Viking Club track scheduled for next Thursday Night, the track previously was Scalextric Sport, but is now a Policar track which should be very interesting as this is now the 2nd of this Brand type surfaces in our series but this one is full size club size circuit.
And my Pitlane Review will take place next week probably Tuesday, as I am off tomorrow to try my luck at the Wye Valley Autumn Rally, and probably will be seeing not only my own cars but one or two other entrants Proxy Rally cars in action which are no doubt will be giving them an insight as to how well their cars might do in our "Rally Cars Slotting" Proxy next year.

Good Morning
Pitlane Review
In general the Round at Woodland Fort was more of an Endurance for some Teams cars than expected, and some did not like the grippy track surface whilst others thrived.
The result of which means that there has been a general closing of the gaps on most of the Classes.
Modern Endurance 24HRS
Most of this class ran to form with the exception of Team Tatters - AMG Merc which took another beating on this Round. However the BMW V12 LMP took 1st place in its stride keeping just ahead of RoadRunners Mercedes CLK.
Classic Le Mans
A big surprise here as the Ferrari 250GTO of Mountain View struggled to maintain its regular form, enabling the AC Cobra of Bangers Racing to take top spot. Butb this time around the yellow Ferrari of BARacer appeared to thrive on this track taking 3rd place.
Daytona
Again it was another fight at the top between two Group 5 Cars, BMW M1 of Ruscillo Racing and the BMW 320 of Team Tatters this time. The Camaro of Courtney Sport found the going tough on this track. However the De Tomaso of Green Star Racing made its first appearance on the podium in 3rd place.
InterSeries
This this is turning out to be a great scarp between the Porsche 917/10 of Courtney Sport and the Ferrari 512M of Savage GT. This time around the Porsche just had the edge.
Championship Review
Modern Endurance 24HRS
The BMW V12 of Savage GT comfortably ahead, and similarly with the Merc CLK of RoadRunners in 2nd position.
There is an interesting Scrap for 3rd place after Lifeboats Racing Porsche 962 took over 3rd position from Team Tatters AMG after a poor run from them.
Classic Le Mans
The gap dramatically reduced between the 1st Place Ferrari 250GTO of Mountain View and 2nd place AC Cobra of Bangers Racing, there could be a fight for the top spot between these two. Similarly the next 3 cars, Aston Martin DBR1 of Roadrunners, the Porsche 904 of Brumos RSR and the Ferrari 250GTO of BARacer are all showing similar performance and anyone of these could could steal 3rd place.
Daytona
After a few rounds at the top the BMW M1 of Ruscillo Racing is now sharing the top place with the BMW 320 of Team Tatters. The Camaro of Courtney Sport seems to be slipping away in 3rd, with the Lancia BMC of ALS RAcing hot on its tail.
InterSeries
The Porsche 917/10 of Courtney Sport, still looking comfortable in 1st position, but with the Ferrari 512M of Savage GT catching the Mclaren M6A of Brumos, there could be an interesting ending to this class, it will very much depend on how the Ferrari does after the speedy Motor change for the remaining Rounds.
So hopefully the Round 5 at Viking Slot Car Club will prove to be just as thrilling, they have the new track surface in place now, so we might see a difference of form than on previous runs at this club track.

Unfortunately for me, The slot.it motor does not feel to have the punch, smoothness or braking of the BRM motor, So I won't be suprised to see the car to slip down the field.
