A full card of seven classes saw Paul, Johnno, and Ian lock horns in a fast-paced day of slot car racing, featuring tight battles, record-setting single laps, and tactical pit stops.

Race 1: Trans-Am Paul set the tone for the night with a consistent drive, banking 68 laps to claim the opening win. Johnno pushed hard and set the quickest single lap of the race with a 9.327s, but fell two laps short at the line. Ian rounded out the podium, hampered by consistency issues with an average lap time of 12.602s.

Race 2: GT International NC5 Johnno struck back in GT International NC5, taking victory with 77.55 laps and punching out the session’s fastest lap of 8.309s. Paul kept the pressure on throughout the 4 heats, missing out by less than a lap (+9.363s total time gap). Ian stayed right on the pace, keeping all three drivers comfortably within a few laps of each other.

Race 3: Sideways Group 5 Paul dominated the Sideways Group 5 round, ripping the fastest lap of the race with an 8.420s and completing 75.31 laps. Ian delivered a clean drive to lock down second place, while Johnno struggled to find rhythm, settling for third.

Race 4: Slot.it Group C A classic Slot.it Group C battle saw Johnno take the checkered flag on 78.13 laps. Despite Paul setting the fastest absolute single lap of the race with a blistering 8.287s, minor deslots allowed Ian to steal 2nd place overall by less than half a lap.

Race 5: Revo The Revo class produced one of the closest finishes of the night. Paul secured top honours on 78.49 laps and set the fastest lap (8.335s). Johnno pushed him all the way to the end, finishing just under a lap behind on 77.52, while Ian bagged 3rd place with 73.17 laps.

Race 6: Slot.it LMP Paul broke the 80-lap barrier in the Slot.it LMP class, stopping the clock at 80.82 laps and setting the quickest lap of the heat at 8.151s. Johnno maintained strong pace with an 8.489s best lap to take 2nd, with Ian filling out the podium.

Race 7: Slot.it Can-Am The raw speed of the Can-Am cars saw lap counts soar into the 80s. Paul claimed another victory on 84.28 laps, setting the standard with a sub-8 lap of 7.945s. Johnno kept him honest, crossing the line just 1.02 laps behind with a quick lap of 8.034s.

Race 8: Sideways Lamborghini Huracán GT3 The GT3 spec cars delivered high lap totals across the board. Paul clinched the win on 86.81 laps. In a thrilling twist, Johnno clocked the fastest single lap of the race at 7.777s, but Paul's consistency secured the overall win by a narrow margin of 1.07 laps. Ian put in his best performance of the night, breaking 80 laps for 3rd.

Race 9: R.W.Y.B. FUEL The tactical Run What You Brung Fuel race delivered the most dramatic finish of the night. Despite Paul laying down the absolute fastest lap of the session (8.095s), Ian played the pit lane strategy perfectly. Both Ian and Paul finished dead equal on 69.00 laps, with Ian snatching 1st place on total race duration (+5.181s gap to Paul). Johnno finished right on their heels on 68 laps.

Shenanigans Raceway Meeting Report
19th August 2026

It was another action-packed session at Shenanigans Raceway, with Paul, Johnno, and Ian going head-to-head across eight distinct classes. Paul put on a dominant display throughout the meeting, securing victory in five classes, while Johnno claimed top honours in three, leaving Ian to battle for podium spots across the field.

Trans-Am
Paul set a strong pace in Trans-Am, completing 72.35 laps and setting the session's fastest lap at 9.124s. Johnno took second place over 3 laps back, with Ian rounding out the podium. [attachment=48472]

GT International NC5
Johnno struck back in GT International NC5, leading the field with 78.00 laps and setting the quickest lap of the heat at 8.505s. Paul finished a distant second (+48.836s gap), closely followed by Ian. [attachment=48474]

Sideways Lamborghini Huracán GT3
The closest finish of the day came in the GT3 class, where Paul edged out Johnno by less than half a lap (86.05 to 85.63 laps). Paul also set the heat benchmark with a 7.771s lap. Ian secured third spot. [attachment=48485]

R.W.Y.B. Fuel
In the strategic, pit-stop-heavy Fuel class, Paul managed his stops and pace best to take the win on 44.00 laps while setting the best lap at 8.254s. Ian drove a solid race to finish second on 42.00 laps, pushing Johnno to third. [attachment=48487]

Shenanigans Raceway Meeting Report
Tuesday 8th September, 2026

It was a competitive six-heat session at Shenanigans Raceway as drivers Charlie, Joe, Johnno, Warren, and Jim went head-to-head across six different categories. Johnno produced a dominant display throughout the meeting, sweeping five of the six class victories, while Charlie grabbed a well-deserved win in the opening heat.

Ninco Porsche 14v
Charlie got the meeting off to a winning start in the Ninco Porsche class, putting on a clinic to log 62.39 laps and setting both the fastest lap of the session (10.493s) and new race record marks. Joe edged out Johnno by just 0.06 laps to claim second spot, with Jim finishing fourth. [attachment=48508]

Trans-Am
Johnno took control in the Trans-Am category, racking up 67.77 laps and dropping the fastest single lap at 9.750s. Charlie held off a razor-thin challenge from Warren to take second place by just 0.01 laps, while Joe finished fourth. [attachment=48509]

Johnno executed a clean sweep across all five classes, taking top honors and posting the fastest lap in every event. Meanwhile, Jeffery, Pete, and Jim fought through close battles for the remaining podium positions throughout the meet.

Aussie Classics Johnno dominated the opening class, setting a new race record lap and score with a 10.244. Jeffery put up a solid defense to claim 2nd, clear of Jim and Pete.

GT International NC5 Johnno breached the 76-lap mark with an 8.744 best lap. Pete bounced back from the first heat to take 2nd, edging out Jim by just over 1.5 laps.

Revo Small Sedans Johnno notched another victory, setting the current race best lap at 8.884. Jim secured 2nd place ahead of Pete, despite Pete running a faster individual best lap.

Slot.it Can-Am The Can-Am cars delivered the fastest lap times of the meeting. Johnno set a blazing 6.323 track record lap on his way to 78.98 laps. Pete logged another 2nd-place finish, ahead of Jeffery.

Carrera - Magnets FUEL The fuel-strategy event saw the field pack tightly together. Johnno swept the card with a 44.27 score. Jeffery held off Pete by less than a lap to take 2nd, while Jim brought home 4th in a close finish.

It was an action-packed race day at Shenanigans Raceway, featuring high-speed slot car racing across eight diverse classes. The day turned into a thrilling head-to-head battle for overall dominance between Johnno and Paul, with Ian and Deeks putting up strong fights and picking up valuable podium finishes throughout the session.

Race 1 Trans-Am The opening Trans-Am heat set the tone for a tight, competitive session. Johnno edged out Paul by less than half a lap to claim victory. Ian claimed 3rd with 64.82 laps, just pipping Deeks (64.76 laps) in a nail-biting finish for the final podium spot.

Race 2 GT International NC5 Johnno delivered a dominant drive in GT International NC5, putting down 82.97 laps and setting the fastest lap of the race at an 8.138s pace. Paul maintained strong consistency to take 2nd (80.19 laps), while Deeks (71.58 laps) edged out Ian (70.63 laps) for 3rd position.

Race 3 Sideways Group 5 Johnno continued his winning streak in Sideways Group 5, racking up nearly 80 laps. Ian drove a clean race to secure a solid 2nd place. Deeks took 3rd (69.07 laps), while Paul encountered issues during the heat, settling for 4th despite clocking a rapid 8.711s single lap.

Race 4 Slot.it Group C Johnno swept another victory, driving his Group C car to 75.17 laps and setting the best race lap at 8.082s. Deeks turned in one of his best performances of the day, finishing 2nd with 71.64 laps. Ian was right on his tail, finishing just 0.24 laps behind in 3rd, with Paul rounding out the grid in 4th.

Race 5 Revo Paul broke Johnno’s winning streak in the Revo class with a dominant 74.61-lap performance. Ian secured another strong 2nd-place finish. Johnno posted the single fastest lap of the heat (8.239s) but encountered trouble that relegated him to 3rd place overall, ahead of Deeks in 4th.

Race 6 Slot.it LMP Paul mastered the high-downforce Slot.it LMP class, topping the charts with 81.71 laps and the quickest lap time of 8.122s. Deeks earned a solid 2nd place, holding off Ian in 3rd by less than half a lap in a tense battle. Johnno struggled to match his earlier pace, finishing 4th.

Race 7 Slot.it Can-Am The classic Can-Am machinery provided high drama. Paul claimed his third consecutive class victory with 79.44 laps, but Ian pushed him all the way to the line, finishing just 1.25 laps behind in 2nd. Deeks took 3rd, while Johnno set the absolute fastest lap (8.103s) but finished 4th after race incidents slowed his overall count.

Race 8 Sideways Lamborghini Huracán GT3 The modern GT3 machinery produced the highest lap counts of the day. Paul delivered a masterclass drive, putting up an impressive 86.81 laps to win the heat. Johnno put in a sub-8-second lap (7.869s) to claim the fastest lap of the heat but had to settle for 2nd overall. Deeks edged out Ian by under a lap to take 3rd place.

Race 9 R.W.Y.B. (Run What You Brung) The unrestricted R.W.Y.B. heat provided the closest finish of the entire event! Johnno took victory by a mere 0.16 laps over Paul after an intense wheel-to-wheel sprint. Ian was right there with them, finishing only 0.11 laps behind Paul in an unbelievably close top three! Johnno also stamped his authority on the heat by laying down the fastest lap of the entire event with a blistering 7.660s.

Here are some photos of Shenanigans Raceway, a 4-lane MrTrax track. Since I've had the track I've done many improvements with customised upgrades that really have improved the track and racing immensely since original purchase. 

ok so I'm over fixing this photo garbage, they post perfect on other sites without issue but here, well, yeah. sorry but for now this is it for the photos for this post, will work on correcting this, maybe

Thanks, taken near on four years to get things sorted as mentioned above. Still got the joint issue on a couple of spots but that is the next project will be fully adjustable custom legs for each table, sadly the current ones are seriously lacking for the performance expected from a cheap commercial product, oh well.
