Started to panic, but see that the later rules have been simplified and allow up to 20.5k rpm, for all Class B cars, instead of 18k rpm for some etc.

Yes your Betta Classic Fibre mouldings are fine, and next year I will not be changing the rules......much (as I been ticked off about that).
So apart from the one months grace after initial posting, I will resist the temptation to change anything after that, for better or worse.

Savage GT - 15th-Aug-22
Today my plan was to get one of my entries in primer, using my cheap airbrush.
It would have been my first attempt at painting a slot car with it.
Unfortunately it pretty much fell to bits and refused any attempt at spraying paint.
Admittedly, I didn't expect it too last long and bought the kit mainly for the compressor and to try my hand at airbrushing.
For it to throw the towel in right now wasn't the most helpful timing
I am still unsure if I have the necessary skills to use the airbrush, but as the aerosols to do the white kits i have currently would cost 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of a quality airbrush, i spent more money I don't have and ordered myself a Harder & Steenbeck Evolution CR Plus airbrush.
The best price I could find was Amazon EU, so should be with me for Saturday, that leaves me 5 days behind planned schedule for one car, and I haven't even got the second one in my possession yet, but at least I don't have to paint that one !
Currently looking at the best way to light these without spending too much, then I have to work out what tyres are going to be most suitable for the varied surfaces.
Anyone else still have a fair bit to do yet, or are you all much better organised and have it all in hand ?

I'm yet to be convinced on the benefits of white kits! I prefer to spend my time and limited skills working on the mechanics...
