As for the racing, Simon had designed us a new fast-flowing circuit that filled pretty much the whole of the Barn...



Our 24 racers were divided into six teams of four, each featuring a young driver, a Gold or Silver seeded driver and a rookie. The Nascars started rolling at 7.25pm, a little later than usual, with the plan being a shortened race of two 20 minute segments...



It really was a quick circuit and there were plenty of fuel stops in the first 20 minutes (the tyre simulation would be added for the second segment). Oliver and Ryan's teams battled it out, both finishing on 99 laps - Isaac's team two laps behind in third. Eight laps separated the entire field at half way...



The tyre simulation was added, giving the rookies a more complex pit stop menu to navigate...



Ash's team really got on well with the Green Taurus, hitting 101 laps by the end of race and giving us one of the closest 1-2-3s we've seen at the Barn...



Congrats to Oliver, Simon, Duncan & Stephen who won be finishing ahead of Ryan, Rob, Steve and Kevin on the road...

 

 

 

After four races, the total laps for each driver were added up to give us our 2026 Nascar team race drivers' championship result...



Congrats to Rob for defending his title!



And that gave us time for a full Trans-Am pairs race - twenty-four drivers racing twelve cars...
