I am 52 years old and had no contact with slot cars since my childhood until 3 years ago. As a child, I got various tracks from my older brother, even one with a landscape. Then, 3 years ago, I caught the fever with a Carrera digital starter pack. Since then, not a week goes by without me getting involved with the subject. I have expanded the track and the fleet, made a dual conversion and equipped all the points with anti-collision switching (yes, I know, real racers don't like them - but since I often have only a few racing enthusiasts and drive a lot with ghost cars, the game flow is higher). In the meantime, I also have all the beautiful old Herpa buildings. As finished buildings and as kits in original packaging. I find the Grand Prix racers from Monogram, Atlas, Airfix the most beautiful visually. Velasor would be great, but the price of 600-700 euros per car is too much for me.
Since I had contact with landscaping with a Märklin HO track in my youth, I am interested in the implementation of a corresponding slotcar track with landscape and height differences (layout that includes all the curve radii of Carrera, as well as opening and closing curves and a pitlane).

I have also gained some experience with the installation of digital chips in the beautiful F1 Scalextric racers (e.g. Lotus 49, Eagle Weslake).
